Book Summaries – Cradle by Will Wight

11/5 Bloodline Summary Update: IT’S HERE! See below! 🙂

Below are a series of summaries for each of the Cradle novels by Will Wight: Unsouled, Soulsmith, Blackflame, Skysworn, Ghostwater, and Uncrowned. This is a work in progress, so please check back later to see if summaries of new books have been published.

Given that these are summaries, they obviously contain spoilers. If you don’t want to be spoiled on the contents of each book, don’t click on any of these. A non-spoiler review of the first two books can be read here if you are interested in the series but are looking to avoid spoilers. Reviews for books three and above contain spoilers for previous books in the series. I will apologize in advance – I started to get a tad bit burnt out by the end, so there may be a few typos or abbreviations in the last three detailed summaries. The quick summaries are all polished up and ready for you, however!

Happy reading, friends!

If you enjoy these summaries or find them useful, they were actually quite labor intensive to put together. If you’re so inclined, I do have a ko-fi account set up to receive tips for my writing. No pressure, of course, as I didn’t write these with the intent of making money off them, but every little thing is appreciated! I am a poor freelancer trying to make their way through the publishing world, but I’m also not struggling to eat, so do with that info as you will 🙂

      1. Do you know if the Repear summary will be posted any time soon? I’m trying to read Dreadgod but I have forgotten a lot from the earlier books. You other summaries have been so helpful already!

        1. Oof honestly Dreadgod snuck up on me. I JUST started a new job and have been super busy, and these summaries involve rereading the book while taking notes all the way through. I unfortunately can’t make any promises on timeline for Reaper 😦 hopefully by the end of the month!

          1. Hi Christine,

Thank you so much for posting the summaries here. I wanted to start Dreadgod but I was dreading (yes, pun intended) rereading all the books. Thanks to you I’ve caught up effortlessly. Any chance you’re working on the summary for Reaper?

            Thank you either way.

            1. Hey there! Eventually I will get the Reaper summary. I just started a new job, so things are a bit hectic right now! The summaries require a full reread whole taking notes and are pretty labor intensive. Hoping to have it sometime this month, but I can’t make it a promise. Happy reading!!
